to a students success!" Hi, my name is Nancy Simmons, and I have been a teacher to hundreds of students for several decades. I have witnessed first-hand the beginnings of their journey, as they are writing the chapters to their storybook of following their dreams. I have been very blessed in having the opportunity to be a steppingstone to their success! To be pathway of steppingstones to discovery, transformation and empowerment through education. My passion and mission are to serve, to inspire and encourage the SUCCESS of others, as they are writing THEIR STORIES of "the Journey" in following their dreams! In May 2018, my dream was to celebrate two very special moments of my life. My 60th Birthday and my 10th Year Anniversary in teaching for Steiner Florida College of Natural Health, which was at that time transitioning to the new branding of Cortiva Institute. In honor of this celebration, I was going to release a book I have been writing for the past 20 years and to have a special event celebrating all the wonderful students I have had the pleasure to educate. Unfortunately, my father unexpectedly passed away in March of 2018 that plunged me on to a different pathway of life and changed the course of my life I was traveling at that time. Now in this year of 2022, in celebration of my 15th year anniversary teaching at Cortiva Institue, I wanted to celebrate all the students that I have been so blessed in given the opportunity to educate. To have been a "steppingstone" on their journey, in following their dreams and reaching their destiny of SUCCESS. My dream and heart's desire are to celebrate EACH and every one who I have taught throughout the 15 years. Having the opportunity to touch their lives in a special way, in making a difference on their journey to success. This is one of the main purposes of developing this website. To spotlight their storybook experiences and to celebrate their successful journey of where their dreams have taken them. I have also been writing a book for the past 20 years about my life experiences and the transformations my journey has taken. As a part of my book, I want to celebrate every student that I have had the opportunity to educate, and whom have been a chapter of my life's story. My journey has been so blessed and enriched in being a part of their pathway, in the journey of following their dreams. I truly believe that everyone should write a book about their life. You never know who may pick up that book and read some form of perception or encouragement that could transform their lives, and place them on the pathway to joy, happiness and success. On my journey of life and in following my dreams, there have been several books that transformed my life and has placed me on a more joyful, positive, successful journey of life. I thank God for those who took the time to write those books, and also for those who placed those books in my hands and encouraged for me to read them. In the timing of my life, those books gave me the education and direction that empowered me with the life-changing tools I needed in my toolbox of life. The tools that we use to develop our lives is the contributing factor to our success. I thank God every day that He placed those people in my pathway, on my journey of life. They gave me inspiration and the courage to embrace the seeds of greatness that God had given me. To use those life-changing tools that I needed in my toolbox of life, that has brought me to this point and time of my life. In reflection of my journey, in following my dreams, the most wonderful and rewarding aspect of writing my lifetime story; is that I have been so greatly blessed and given the opportunity to have the platform as an instructor. Teaching for the past 15 years at previously Steiner Florida College of Natural Health, transitioned to Cortiva Institute and now has merged with Hollywood Institute, has been the most rewarding and inspiring journey of my life. To give back of what was so graciously and wonderfully given to me when I ventured into the beauty industry, has been a wonderful blessing in my life. The abundance of God's blessings in my life, has so humbled me in knowing of His Greatness, and of knowing who He is and of His love for all mankind. Being an educator of health and wellness combined with the skin care industry, has given me the opportunity to be a part of making the skin care industry the best and holding of the highest standards. My passion for skin care and the health and well-being of others, has been the core and soul part of making the skin care profession a highly sought for position. My desire and driving force is touching the lives of others for a better life. Celebrating the SUCCESS of Others! I am joined by many who make the aesthetics industry a choice for a lifetime career. A venturous industry that celebrates health and beauty lifestyles. We find it an exciting and rewarding profession and a way to help others to look and feel their best. To live a better life through self-care and wellness. Our graduates that are now out and part of the health and beauty industry are the product of previously Steiner Florida College of Natural Health, and now is Hollywood / Cortiva Institute's mission. We provide enriched, quality education and highly trained professionals to be readily employed in the beauty and wellness industry. This is what I want to celebrate of our wonderful graduates! They deserve the best in life due to making positive choices for their professional destiny. The success of others, in writing the chapters of their life stories of their journey, in following their DREAMS! In addition to the celebration of those who I have had the opportunity to teach and educate, as a chapter in the book, my dream is to raise the funding that will give me the opportunity to provide a special event. My dream and goal is to celebrate my 65th birthday in May 2023 with the publishing of my book. To create a special event where we all can come together in one place and celebrate as many as possible graduates storybook journey's of Success. I want to create a Special Event where as many graduates that would love to come and meet and participate in the celebration of each other, the health and beauty industry and their Success. The theme will be Following My Dreams "The Journey". They will present as "I am a Steiner Florida College of Natural Health Graduate or a Cortiva Institute graduate". My dream is to raise the funds to reserve and provide a large meeting hall at a Marriott Hotel in the Orlando area. To provide a wonderful celebration featured with food, music and a stage to present special speakers of the beauty industry, feature selective Graduates success that will inspire and up lift all those who attend. It will be an evening filled with innovative information and encouragement for those who attends and to embrace their journey of following their dreams! |

values in her skin care profession and in her journey of Lifestyle Wellness. Her expertise is in customized result-driven treatments for optimal healthy skin, addressing conditions of aging, acne and pigmentation issues, while cultivating healthy living. Nancy's passion for discovering solutions, that transforms, restores, and renews the skin and the health of our well-being, is her inspiration for each person she comes in contact with on a daily basis. Her philosophy of a holistic approach in cultivating the philosophy of cleanse, balance and the renewal of her well-being on a cellular level, started in her early 20's. In 1985 she came across a book called, "Fit for Life" written by Harvey and Marilyn Diamond. This book in combination with being a personal fitness trainer for 15 years, has been her foundation for achieving radiant, beautiful skin and for her health and well-being. Nancy is very knowledgeable regarding the connection of nature and science in skin care and the fusion of lifestyle wellness. Her experience and understanding of the changing elements concerning lifestyle, nutrition and the aging process has made her develop protocols achieving optimal results of cellular rejuvenation. This cultivation of essentials, she strives for on her own personal journey and with all her clients, when it come to their achievement for radiant, beautiful skin and for their health and well-being. Coming from a background of health and nutrition and being a personal fitness trainer and educator of 15 years, she ventured into the skin care industry in 2003 finding her enthusiasm, and desire for the creation and appreciation of beauty combined with health and wellness. Nancy is a graduate of the Skin Care Program at Florida College of Natural Health in Maitland, Florida. After she graduated from Florida College of Natural Health, she began her career journey on the pathway as an aesthetician owning her own skin care spa business, Skinsational Enterprises and working for a skin care company called Swiss Line. She was their educator, trainer and sales representative, helping and assisting spa owners, directors and aestheticians in promoting their spa business with the Swissline skin care products. While advancing her education in becoming more versed in advanced aesthetics, she started working with various doctors in helping them in promoting and managing their spa locations. She then feel in love with the Beautiful Image microcurrent technology and became a representative in promoting this world wide known advanced technology. In 2008 Nancy was offered a position to became an educator at Florida College of Natural Health in Maitland, Florida (the school she graduated from). Her awareness of education being the cornerstone and the most important component in becoming a high quality therapist and to gain the best opportunities of the industry, she accepted the position. She loves having the privilege and opportunity, of being a part of enriching the lives of those who choose to become a therapist of the skin care industry. With the training and experience she has gained through the years working in the industry, allows her to give back of what was given to her by highly qualified, passionate professionals. Every day she is given the wonderful opportunity in sharing her experiences of the industry and teaching others how to be the best therapist they can be in the industry. Being a part of making the skin care industry a reflection of the highest quality, trained professionals. She considers herself as a seed planter, planting the seeds of knowledge, inspiration and helping other to successfully reach their dreams and goals of a career in skin care. In 2015 Nancy launched a health and wellness networking group, called Radiance Within Rejuvenation. In partnership with other heath and wellness professionals she has developed a group who provides skin care programs, health coaching, advanced certification training and promotion of various products in spas, med-spas and wellness centers. Radiance Within Rejuvenation celebrates the discovery of a "Beautiful You" in finding balance in knowing of ourselves and being in touch with the true needs of our mind, body and soul. A discovery based on "cellular rejuvenation" through education, products and services. Nancy has been very blessed with wonderful professionals of the health and wellness industry, who have touched her life and has helped her achieve tremendous success. In 2017 she has also been blessed with the opportunity to give back in launching the opening of RejuveESCENCE II, a boutique filled with the joys of lifestyle wellness solutions. Giving her an additional path to embrace and enrich the lives of others, making a difference in their Lifestyle Wellness journey, and being a part of the chapters they write in their storybook of adventures, in achieving success and happiness of their health and well-being. |
